I’ve never encountered a programming language that offers more built-in methods for handling array data than JavaScript.

This versatility comes with many options to clear an array, each with its own benefits depending on your scenario.

One common method to clear an array in JavaScript is the splice() method. Another widely used option is to loop through the entire array and pop out elements one at a time.

However, while these methods are effective they are not very efficient.

If you’d like to optimize your code for speed and efficiency, setting your array length property to 0 is the best option.

This approach modifies your existing array in place, making it an O(1) operation regardless of size.

O(1) operations execute in the same amount of time regardless of input size, in this case, array size.

It’s highly efficient for large arrays. This method is also ideal when you’d like to maintain references to the original array.

Another very efficient operation is reassigning your array variable to an empty…
