The Reason I Use Ubuntu Linux as My Main OS

In a world where desktop operating systems are primarily dominated by commercial products like Windows and macOS, open-source alternatives such as Linux are equally robust and user-friendly.

I use Ubuntu Linux as my main operating system. I mainly use my PC for developing software, content creation, and general browsing.

Here are some of the reasons that led me to choose Ubuntu as my main OS.

1. Open Source Philosophy

One of the core principles of the Ubuntu OS is its commitment to the open-source philosophy. As an Ubuntu user, I can customize and change the software according to my needs. In other words, I can view, modify, compile and make modifications to the source code. and distribute it further.

Apart from fostering community collaboration, this ensures that users are confident that the OS is not hiding any harmful features or gathering user information secretively.

Ubuntu offers me so much freedom and independence.

2. Enhancing My Computer Knowledge

As a software developer and computer enthusiast, I continually learn new things and enhance my skills…
