Installing Arch Linux Just Got a Lot Easier
Arch Linux is one of the most loved Linux distros but it is notoriously famous for being difficult to install and set up unlike other mainstream distros like Ubuntu, Manjaro, etc.
This guide will show you how to install Arch Linux using the new Arch guided installer. With the guided installer all you need to do is select one of the presented options in the shell and press Enter to make your selection.
Prerequisites
- First, you need to download the Arch Linux ISO, which comes with the guided installer, from the Arch Linux official page.
- You should then create a bootable USB from the Arch Linux ISO that you have downloaded using tools such as Etcher or any other tool of your choice.
This guide assumes you are installing Arch Linux on an entire hard drive, so it will not cover how to create partitions. Here is how to create a partition in windows, there are lots of resources online on this topic.
